BPAHC is mandated to register, regulate, and maintain standards for allied health professionals across all disciplines of the healthcare sector in Bihar.
BPAHC oversees professional licensing, institutional affiliation, and quality assurance for 12 regulated allied health professions — ensuring that only qualified and certified professionals practise in Bihar's rapidly growing healthcare ecosystem.

BPAHC regulates allied health education and practice across Bihar through recognized certificate, diploma, and degree programs.

To inspect the programme of training and conduct examination of recognized by BPAHC allied health institutions. To register/membership from Bihar Professional Allied and Healthcare Council successfully student from allied health education and who has passed out in allied health course from UGC recognized university and other recognized institution.
The BPAHC will regulate the allied health courses running throughout Bihar. To enroll and give the mark sheet and certificate recognized by the Bihar Professional Allied and Healthcare Council.
Essential drug of primary health care programme will work under the direction of W.H.O. To register/membership from BIHAR PROFESSIONAL ALLIED AND HEALTHCARE COUNCIL, India those students who have passed allied health courses of All Boards and other Allied Health community health centers.
